Happy New Year!
I thought I'd wish those of you in the future a Happy New Year. For those of us on the west coast of the States, we still have another two hours left in 2009. It's hard to take in how fast time goes.
For those of you who are wondering, NaNoWriMo went well. I passed the word goal of 50,000 by a little over 2,000 words. It was hard, and trust me, there were seveal times I thought I would die, but in the end I pulled through.
As for my sister, things are going well for her and her new hubby. She misses us no doubt about it, but I know we miss her as well. It's nice having a big brother. It can be hard when you are the only girl in the family who enjoys video games and war movies, so having a brother is the best, because what I didn't have, is now a part of me.
Although life has been great, there has been a moment of sorrow. My heart is with my brother in Christ, David, who met with Jesus on December 26, 2009 at 12:15 PM. We all miss him very much, but knowing he is now at home with God brings much comfort.
Okay...now for my 'New Year's Resolutions'. I never really got the whole idea of setting a goal for the new year. In the past my goal was just to survive the year, but since it's a new decade, I can probably try to make a goal or two.
1. Finish my book
2. Complete the 10th grade with straight A's. (I do this like every year, B's are not an option)
3. Read one book a week for the next 52 weeks.
4. Cook. Yes, just learn to cook really well. I must make dinner once this year, at least!
5. Drink more water. (I just thought I should add this as a reminder to drink more water)
6. Learn to play a Taylor Swift song on my guitar
7. Get a job. I'm 16 now, and I'll be able to drive on my own soon. A job would be helpful...very helpful.
8. Move to Colorado.
9. Draw five Star Wars characters (One down...four to go)
10. Survive.
Yep...so...that's it...Happy New Year!
I'll try to keep up with the blog more, I'm just running short on time lately. I'll write soon.
Okay, seriously...frogs don't taste good, and neither does Escargot. So for some of you daring people who have a goal of try every food placed in front of you, please do not eat frogs or snails! That's just...not right.
Peace out friends,
~FrogGirl

First NaNoWriMo Tears
Blood, sweat, and tears have gone into my NaNo story...okay, not blood, yet.
I have finished part one of my novvel and now I'm onto part two, chapter 15, and at 15,181 words.
I have to hit 16,670 words today. That won't be too hard, I actaully want to go higher than that. Best of luck to all you writers/authors!
Frogs don't taste good and...I can't think of anything at this moment.
Peace out friends!

Where did it go?
My latest Facebook:
"America today isn't like the America I read about in history books. You know, where people worked hard, the government wasn't a dictatorship and where kids had a future."
Where has this all gone?
Frogs don't taste good...and well...neither does the rising communism in America.
Enjoy freedom while it lasts!

NaNoWriMo
Dear Followers, (Anyone out there really)
Ten points to anyone who knows what NaNoWriMo is without me saying it. (Jeopardy Theme)
Okays, National Novel Writing Month! This is actually my first year doing it. Last year was the first time I had ever heard of NaNoWriMo, and this year I found myself being pulled into this crazy---er---what would you call it?
Anyway for teens and adults, the goal for NaNoWriMo is to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days! (Nov. 1 - Nov. 30). That's 1667 words a day!
As of now I have 7,083 words (day two, oh yeah!). I have one problem though...it's called 'Writer's Block'. No matter how hard you try, the words or ideas don't seem to come to you. Why is it that this write's block has to come on day two of NaNoWriMo? I have no idea, but this block had better go away by the end of today, or I'm going to have a hard time finishing NaNoWriMo.
Well, to anyone out there who dares to step up to this goal. Thumbs up for you! Keep writing, maybe one day your novel will be published.
Remember that frogs don't taste good and neither does---uh...uh--- a writer's block!

Ribbit!
Dear Readers (although there aren't any so far),
It is I! The one you have been waiting for! The person who takes blogging to the next level. *pauses* Er---well...right...I'm going to be honest with you and say that *thinks* I'm Hannah Montana! Not. (Although some of you probably wish I were).
Really, in all truths, I'm your average 16-year-old girl. (young woman would be perferred) Anyway, I'm here to offer my ideas and opinions about things. So if you have any ideas just comment on the latest post and I'll try to talk about your suggestion. If not, I will babble on about well...anything I choose.
Remember, frogs don't taste good, and neither do snails.
Peace out friends!
